Ä°rem Korkmaz
Research Assistant
Ä°rem Korkmaz received her undergraduate degree from Department of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University, during which she studied at Technische Universität München for a year in scope of Erasmus Programme. In the same year, she was accepted to the Excellence Program of Oskar-von-Miller Forum in Munich. In 2018, she was awarded with Arkitera Travel Scholarship and conducted a research project on participatory urban practices in San Francisco. In 2019, she took part in the selection committee of the same competition. Between 2016-2019, she carried out the position of National Contact for Turkey in European Architecture Students Assembly. In 2022, she completed her masters studies at ITU Architectural Design Program. Since January 2020, she has been working at MEF University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture as research assistant.
